What’s the difference between software consulting and software development?
Consulting produces the plan — architecture, roadmap, compliance strategy. Development builds the product. Some engagements are consulting-only; others move directly into development with the same team.
How much does software consulting cost?
It depends on scope — a technology stack assessment costs less than a full enterprise modernization roadmap. We provide a fixed estimate after an initial discovery conversation.
Do I need consulting if I already know what I want to build?
Usually yes, if the build is non-trivial. Knowing what you want and knowing whether the technical plan to get there is sound are different things.
Can you just deliver the roadmap, or do we have to build with you?
The roadmap is yours either way. Many clients continue into development with us, but that’s not a requirement.
